How to Set Up a Hookah – Using the Hookah
Once you finish the guide discussing how to make sure your hookah has proper air flow you can move on to actually using your hookah. There isn’t much to do in order to finish preparing your hookah and start smoking your shisha so just follow these few steps and you’ll have no problems.
Guide
Take the hookah stem out of the vase and fill the vase up with water to the point where the stem will be an inch into the water. Now place the hookah stem in the vase again.
Prepare the shisha tobacco to be smoked by breaking it up and then placing it into the bowl. Sprinkle the tobacco into the bowl so it’s placed loosely and can have a decent air flow through it and the lit coals. Don’t fill the shish tobacco past the rim of the bowl. Put the screen on the bowl now.
If you plan on using tin foil then poke little holes in it for air flow and morph it to stick to the hookah bowl. Now put the bowl on the hookah stem and make sure the bowl gasket is located between the stem and bowl.
If you’ve followed the guide to this point it’s now time to smoke the shisha tobacco from your hookah. Get ready to light your coals. Some coal may require being lit on a stove or by a torch but you can buy coals that instantly light and work with a lighter.
Once the coals are red and fully heated place them on top of the bowl. Crumble the coals to small chunks so the heat is properly distributed with the tobacco. Now you can just inhale through the hose and enjoy. It might take a few minutes before the smoke is inhaled properly though.
